Heavy Duty Connectors - Contacts

Products in this family are interconnect system components designed to be applied to a conductor, typically by means of a crimp connection, and inserted into a compatible insulation and retention component known as an insert, which is subsequently mounted within several other components (e.g. frame, hood) to construct a completed connector. In this context, "heavy duty" refers to a relatively specific range of interconnect products that are typically of rectangular format and characterized by features such as cast metal backshells, guide pins, and pin-and-latch retention mechanisms.
